Hi, I'm Kelly.

I’m an American illustrator & designer who found a renewed love for art while living in Southeast Asia. Since 2022 when I launched Kelly Wallace Creative, it’s been my joy to create visual adventures that breathe purpose, refreshment, and hope into others’ journeys.

The heart behind my work is to inspire adventure and creativity through illustrations that feel like a morning abroad.

From working with well-known brands like charity:water to quaint commissions of family recipe cards, I love collaborating with fellow creative adventurers to bring ideas to life that make the world a better place.

Experiences like living abroad, spending time with refugees, hiking through national parks, and traveling to places far different than where I'm from have all shaped the heartbeat of my work. Stories transform the way we see the world, and I believe that visual narratives can foster purpose and humanity in us.

When I’m not illustrating, you'll find me traveling, drinking pourover coffee, exploring the outdoors, cooking international foods, hosting, and learning languages.

I love creating in themes of travel, culture, humanitarian efforts, and environmental sustainability for purpose-driven people and brands.

A FEW FACTS-

⋒ My husband and I are American and have collectively lived in 5 countries.

⋒ We have 1 daughter, and hope to adopt in the future!

⋒ My favorite coffee is a light roast Yirgacheffe Ethiopian (natural process) made with a V60.

⋒ I'm UX Design & barista certified.

⋒ My guilty pleasure is learning new things on Youtube.

⋒ I could eat chicken tikka masala and drink boba tea every single day!

My happy place is a morning traveling abroad. Waking up in a place unexplored, the day untouched, knowing that I’m on the brink of adventure with people I love. Being out of my normal context helps me appreciate the wonder back in everyday life.

These moments can carry us through the valleys. But what about the in-between? Most of us can’t hop to our mountaintops every time we crave refreshment.

So, we anchor ourselves with reminders - visual adventures- that transport us, if even for a second, to where we feel alive.

Art breathes life into our souls- like we’re in the places we feel whole. Until we are.

This is why I create. Let’s work together to cultivate these artistic anchors for others- visual adventures that breathe purpose and hope into their journeys.
